Elec­tron­ic water treat­ment sys­tem for Froneri’s ice cream fact­ory

Fron­eri Fin­land Oy’s ice cream fact­ory in Turen­ki, Jana­kkala, is one of the largest and most mod­ern ice cream factor­ies in the Nor­d­ic coun­tries. The well-known Pingvi­ini ice cream brand is pro­duced at the fact­ory.

Ves­iTekno installed sev­er­al Vul­can elec­tron­ic water treat­ment sys­tems at the ice cream fact­ory. The sys­tems were installed on the water pipes of the con­dens­ers in the factory’s refri­ger­a­tion plant to pre­vent limes­cale depos­its.

The elec­tron­ic impulse tech­no­logy of the Vul­can sys­tems pre­vents limes­cale build-up by modi­fy­ing the crys­tal struc­ture of the limes­cale so that the crys­tals lose their abil­ity to stick to each oth­er. The limes­cale there­fore can­not form depos­its and is flushed away with the water.

At the Turen­ki ice cream fact­ory, the energy effi­ciency and ser­vice life of the con­dens­ers are improved as the Vul­can sys­tems keep the pipes sig­ni­fic­antly clean­er than before.
